‘Surprisingly emotional… hysterically funny… And genuinely surprising’- Gothamist

It’s 1956 and the Susan B. Anthony Society for the Sisters of Gertrude Stein are having their annual quiche breakfast. Will they be able to keep their cool when Communists threaten their idyllic town?

A brilliant ensemble piece, this play will leave everyone in attendance tickled. The five ladies in the cast have gelled together seamlessly and their warmth and affection for one another comes across from the off. It is an absolutely absurd piece of storytelling, which is almost made to appear natural!
It is a perfect fit for The Studio stage and is well worth the intrigue!
